Not A New Idea
So like I said previous, this is not a new idea. I cannot take the slightest credit for developing any great theories or groundbreaking ideas that will lead us to some perfect new way of life. For example, check these out:
- Steven Aitchison has been blogging for a while about habits. As a matter of fact, I found he authored an article titled “Develop A New Habit” where he lists several 21 day habits that he is conquering. Would love to one day have him connecting to Habitattoo!
- Pastor Will Bowens is the Lead Minister of the One Community Spiritual Center in Kansas City, MO. Have you heard what he is doing? A 21 day challenge to quit complaining using his purple bracelets as a reminder. It would be amazing for someone to blog about their experience and join us at Habitattoo.
- Dr. Maxwell Maltz was one of the first people to introduce a 21 day principle for developing habits.
- Someone who goes by the name of Sheamus takes this principle one step further and blogs about the power of adding an extra seven days!
This is just a sampling of the enormous number of websites that I found Googling “21 days to break a habit“. Many of these sites have great ideas for overcoming your bad habits or creating good habits. I also found numerous strategies to help with our goals and am looking forward to researching and blogging about these helpful concepts.
Will you join me in blogging about your Habitattoo?
More tomorrow.
